3rd Grade Adventures

  February 28 - March 4, 2022  Chapel ~   Our class will be teaching grades K-2 and 4-5 in Chapel next month.  We are scheduled for March 9. Everyone is welcome to come join the students.  Teacher In Service Day ~ There will be no school on Wednesday 3/2. 

February 21 - 25    Bull Dog Auction ~  Our class will be grouped with 1st and 2nd grades this year. Our theme is "Disney".  Please send in donations to our classroom. I will collect them and combine them with the other donations closer to the auction date. Science ~ This week was filled with volcanos! We researched with our iPads  to find facts and a diagram to draw.  Then we made models in class and are in the process of painting them. They will be on display in the hallway for a few days before they're sent home.  I'm very impressed!

February 14 - 18, 2022   Valentine's Day ~ Thank you to all who signed up to send treats in for our party on Monday.  Everyone is so excited! Short Week ~ Just a reminder that there is no school on Friday or Monday 2/21. We will be reciting our memory verse on Thursday.  

February 7-11, 2022  Our play, "The Ugly Duckling", went well on Thursday. The first graders enjoyed it and our class did a fantastic job! I was so proud of them, especially those who had to fill in for two of our students who weren't feeling well.
