3rd Grade Adventures

  January 31 - February 4, 2022  We're halfway through the year and it's been a great.  So much more to look forward to next semester! Ugly Duckling ~ We are so excited for Thursday! We'll be performing a short play, "The Ugly Duckling" in our classroom for the first graders.  I'm so proud of your children.  They have put so much effort into learning parts, acting, and reading scripts with expression.  Valentine's Day Party ~ Our party will be on Monday, February 14.  I'll be setting up a Sign Up Genius next week.   January 24 - 28, 2022   We have finished our first novel, Chocolate Fever . Our class has begun practicing for our Reader's Theater of "The Ugly Duckling".  We will be performing it for Mrs. McClure's first grade in a few weeks.  Dress for the Weather ~ Most days we go outside for 15 minutes to get some fresh air. A few have been forgetting to bring winter coats. Please remind your little ones that a hoodie is not enough on these cold days. Brrr!

January 17 - 21   Chocolate   Fever Test ~  Just a reminder that our test is on Tuesday!  Egypt Project ~  I sent home the instructions and subject for this project on Friday. If you have any questions, please contact me.

January 10 - 14, 2022  It's good to back at school, even though we had a very short first week. The end of the quarter is fast approaching.  These next few weeks will be filled so please check your child's folder for any Review Sheets for upcoming tests. End of the Quarter ~ January 21 .
