3rd Grade Adventures

  May 2 - 6, 2022 Wow... May is so full of activities it will be hard to keep up.  "Teach the Teacher" lesson plan sheets were sent home this week and are due on Tuesday, May 3.  I will begin scheduling these teaching lessons and send a text with the date your child is scheduled to share as well as have it written in the agenda. I am looking forward to being a student!  Spelling Club ~ I have already sent home an explanation of the Spelling Club that our class will have for the last 4 Spelling Tests.  I'm hoping to encourage those whose grade are slipping a bit due to Spring Fever. 😎  Field Trip ~ Permission Slips for our trip to The Tabernacle were sent home in the Tuesday Envelope.These are due by May 10.  Gala ~ Several students in our class are so excited about performing this night.  Hope to see you there! Bull Dog Auction ~ Thanks to all of you who contacted me or sent in donations for our Disney Basket! I hope everyone will be able to join us on Friday, May13

  April 25 -29, 2022   Fun Hub ~ We have 10 students registered for our school fund raiser so far. Mr. Fry has challenged us to have 90% of our class registered and he will give us a popcorn party!! If you have not registered your child, please do so. It does not mean you have to donate, only register so your child can help out our class. Field Trip ~ We will be taking a field trip on May 12.  I will send home all the information in the Tuesday Envelope.

 April 4 - 8, 2022  Easter Party ~ Wow! You are the fastest volunteers I've ever seen! Thanks to all who have already signed up for our treats. We're planning to enjoy them on Friday afternoon along with a few games.  Iowa Testing ~ Testing will begin the Tuesday after Easter Break.  To prepare, we will be doing a few practice tests on Monday and Tuesday. These do not count for anything other than practice. I'll explain that to the class but it might help those who are anxious to hear some reassurance at home. 😊
