3rd Grade Adventures

March 28 - April 1, 2022  Today was Diffendooffer Day!  We joined 2nd grade for some fun activities this afternoon.   

  March 21 - 25, 2022   Flat Stanley has made it to a few of his destinations!  Pictures will be printed and posted along with letters from those who hosted Stanley this week.  Thanks to all who had a part in this fun project!  Spirit Day ~ Our class will be showing our Bull Dog Spirit on Thursday by wearing our hair in crazy hairstyles!

  March 14 - 18, 2022  Chapel ~ I was so proud of your children on Wednesday! They did an awesome job of sharing all they've learned about Moses and God's people, the Israelites.  If you haven't seen the video on BCS facebook page yet, check it out. 👍 

March 7 - 11, 2022  Chapel ~ Third grade will be presenting chapel on Wednesday at 9:10.  Everybody is welcome to join us for Chapel!  Spelling Vocabulary ~ Our spelling test will now include 2 vocabulary words.  You child needs to learn the spelling and the meaning of these words for our tests on Thursdays.  Bulldog Run and Auction ~ Our class will be joining grades 1 + 2 in making a Disney Basket.  Please send your donations of "Anything Disney" to our classroom. Thank you for your help!

  February 28 - March 4, 2022  Chapel ~   Our class will be teaching grades K-2 and 4-5 in Chapel next month.  We are scheduled for March 9. Everyone is welcome to come join the students.  Teacher In Service Day ~ There will be no school on Wednesday 3/2. 

February 21 - 25    Bull Dog Auction ~  Our class will be grouped with 1st and 2nd grades this year. Our theme is "Disney".  Please send in donations to our classroom. I will collect them and combine them with the other donations closer to the auction date. Science ~ This week was filled with volcanos! We researched with our iPads  to find facts and a diagram to draw.  Then we made models in class and are in the process of painting them. They will be on display in the hallway for a few days before they're sent home.  I'm very impressed!

February 14 - 18, 2022   Valentine's Day ~ Thank you to all who signed up to send treats in for our party on Monday.  Everyone is so excited! Short Week ~ Just a reminder that there is no school on Friday or Monday 2/21. We will be reciting our memory verse on Thursday.
